Legal Tech Laboratory workshop at the Kauffman Foundation

Earlier last month in Kansas City, I facilitated a one-day workshop with various entrepreneurs, professors, clinicians, and Kauffman foundation staff to plan out how law school projects could better serve local communities and businesses.

We used the design process to scope out specific community members who might be involved in the creation of these law school technology and policy initiatives. And we though through how we might get to more significant impact, beyond just for students and universities.

Our Legal Design Lab is one of the members of the Legal Tech Lab network, with Kauffman as a supporter. We have funds to support our Better Internet for Legal Help project, in which we are leading the effort to get legal and court sites to code up their online info, to make it more easily searched and discoverable online.
